An Important Update to Event Protocols Surrounding COVID-19

Our Commitment to Our Guests

As we make the transition back to in-person events, it is the Council’s top priority to ensure the safety of our guests and partners. In order to have an in-person component to this year’s Four Pillar Tribute, we will be enforcing certain protocols relating to the COVID-19 pandemic in the interest of keeping our honoree, our guests, our volunteers, and our staff healthy and safe.

If you feel sick in the days leading up to the event, please stay home. There will be a free, live stream of the Ambassador’s Tribute available for viewing.

We thank you for your understanding of and compliance with the following guidelines:

  • Face masks must be worn and will be enforced at all times during the event. Masks can only be removed when seated at your table to eat and drink.
  • All guest must be fully vaccinated. You are considered to be fully vaccinated two weeks after you receive a second dose in a two-dose vaccine series or two weeks after you receive a single-dose vaccine. Proof of vaccination may be shown by presenting a physical vaccination card, a photo of a physical card, or digital confirmation of vaccination.
  • Guests who are not fully vaccinated will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to the event (dated October 11 or later).
  • Proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test taken on or after October 11th will be REQUIRED for entry

The following are additional steps taken by the Council for Quality Growth to ensure the safety of all our guests:

  • Masks: Abiding by CDC recommendations, all patrons and staff will be required to wear masks, except when seated at socially distanced tables. Masks must cover the nose and mouth when walking around the event space.
  • Reduced Capacity and Social Distancing: We have significantly reduced our event capacity to create room for guests to comfortably and safely distance themselves.
  • Reduced Contact: The check-in process will be contactless. The reception time has been shortened and doors will be open sooner so guests may take their seats.
  • Air Circulation: Air handling and circulation is continually monitored by GWCC HVAC technicians to ensure optimum and safe airflow. Return air/exhaust air is stand alone in the exhibit halls. This means air from the exhibit halls would not impact any other portions of the facility. Each of GWCC’s buildings are being upgraded to MERV 13 filters, which can trap smaller particles, including viruses, and can improve the systems efficacy in removing viruses from circulated air.
  • Sanitizing: Increased the frequency of cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces using EPA-registered disinfectants. High-touch surfaces include restrooms, door handles/knobs, staircase and escalator rails, elevators buttons, and ATM/vending machines. GWCC staff perform constant disinfecting and cleaning of common touchpoint areas (door handles, escalator handrails, comfort stations, food service areas, etc.) and has placed additional alcohol-based hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility.
  • Virtual Attendance: The 2021 Four Pillar Tribute will be live-streamed and available to watch for free at www.FourPillarTribute.com. If you feel sick in the days leading up to the event, please join us online from your home.

Thank you for your cooperation.
